Mysteries of Tiphareth:
As the sixth sphere
on the tree of life, located below the abyss, Tiphareth represents the Solar
central. The center of the Sepirothic
system and the centerpiece Sun in our sky. Some call it quantitive reasoning, or the
fourfold nature of each sepirothic place on the tree; it can be understood
through the study of the four 6s.
Tiphareth is one quarter pleasure with the 6 of Discs and its six blue
spheres of success, each with its own planetary symbol, and a glowing rose
cross, backlit by a concentric solar center. One quarter victory in the 6 of
Wands with its six sunlit adept staffs. One quarter science in the 6 of Swords
with the Mercury in Aquarius blueprint. And one quarter pleasure in the Six of
Cups and its six golden vessels, they are not quite full but the ingredients are
swirling in this wonderful yet transient place. So we have Success, Victory, Science, and
Pleasure; all lit from within by the Sun, and now fully represented by the
Son. Some of the best occult research
consists of slowly counting from one through ten. As you count, imagine the subtle fourfold
nature of each number and hone in on its perspective vibration. These numerical vibrations are very subtle
yet very apparent as you count. Anyone
who has done this knows the coolness of reaching six; and it happens again upon
reaching ten. Six is the natural number
of the Sun, an expansion and excitement of the initial point of the number one,
and a reflection of the ultimate manifestation of the number ten. After the tension of the fives, the sixes are
an awesome segue into full manifestation. With each chapter in this book; I have lived
the degree to its fullest extent on each occasion. Each degree in the cosmos giving me personal
lessons as the chapter is prepared. You
really learn the essence of the degree this way. From one point of view I've had
to endure the sometime torturous fives for way too long, from another it has
allowed an incredible understanding and appreciation for the sepirothic number
six. The Sepirothic system is an awesome
perspective based psychology, which due to the fourfold nature of each place, and their exposure through the
elemental minor arcana, would demonstrate the same magickal portals displayed
throughout the tree. These portals allow
the practioneer to channel these very awesome forces directly into our lives,
and works.
Cards:
The 6 of Disks "SUCCESS" represents the Earthy aspect of the fourfold Tiphareth. In a card reading the 6 of Disks will represent an aspect of "SUCCESS" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw. This aspect of "SUCCESS" is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "SUCCESS" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you. This card represents The Moon in Taurus. We see six blue discs representing each planet as a reflection of Sol, whom at the center of the hexagram is illuminating the earthly manifestation of Tiphareth. The Sun lights the 49 petals of the Rose Cross, and the center of the Sepirothic Tree's system. The Moon's close proximity to Earth, and Taurus's earthy attribution equate to a unique situation where the gates of abundance can open up. This card is normally not an outcome-card, as it is a minor. It will describe the nearby Trump in a reading; which in some cases could be your outcome.
