CHESED: The four 4's

Cohesive or Receptive Consciousness

Mysteries of Chesed:

Chesed like any of the places on the Tree must be considered in a fourfold perspective.  For this reason we present each Sephiroth as Earth, Fire, Air, and Water, or the four 4s of the Minor Arcana.  

As the fourth sphere on the tree of life and located below the abyss, Chesed represents the first conscious awareness of manifestation.  Chesed, influenced by three main paths on the Tree, and located on the Pillar of Mercy.  With a main planetary influence of Jupiter and a minor influence from Venus, Chesed's elemental correspondence is water.
   

Chesed is the first indication of manifestation in the earthly realms, and it is the representation of Jupiterian favor.   

This favor should be considered the building blocks for great ideas, aspirations, and even fair weather; which can lead to even greater material accomplishments.  neo

Influenced by the Empress, Fortune, and the Hermit, we have a triple dose of love, with Venus, Jupiter and the Secret Sun.   Chesed was the first day of creation; it went down on the-day-of-one; the-day-of-loving-kindness.  This loving-kindness is as much a receiving factor as it is a giving one.  The Cosmos or the Elder Father of Jupiterian lore, showers us in this condition of cosmic favor, and the more we reflect this attitude, the more receptive we are to it.  Favor received with open arms, or favor happily given in an unbiased fashion. 

Cards:

The 4 of Disks "POWER" represents the Earthy aspect of the fourfold Chesed.  

In a card reading the 4 of Disks will represent an aspect of "power" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of power is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "power" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you.   
This card represents SOL in Capricorn, which is also the next Aeon after our Aeon of Horus (Aquarian age).  

The 4 of Discs represents a rising Sun, also constantly shifting shadows, the odd alligator (or four) all of them swimming in the moat.  Looking down, we can see a pyramid rising out of the fertile jungle.  The moat is located on the top of the Pyramid, and because of this reason, should be expected to leak into the earthy foundation.  

There are other aspects of this pyramid which make it seem a little too good to be true also, and that is a clue that applies to all of the minor arcana 4s.  

As far as the moat goes, it could just as easily be sculpted agricultural farming land, protected on top of a massive pyramid, either way, that is a lot of engineering.  The fortress at the top of the Pyramid has an element in each tower, and a barely visible figure 8 of Infinity as dead center in the courtyard.   

In a reading this card will represent a shining ideal of the aspirant, but the reality of it all will be dependent on the surrounding cards.

The 4 of Wands "COMPLETION" represents the Fiery aspect of the fourfold Chesed.  

In a card reading the 4 of Wands will represent an aspect of "completion" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of completion is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "completion" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you.   

This card represents Venus in Aries which is represented in the Thoth image.  There is an obvious spark between the Aries staffs and the planet Venus, whom is squeezed up next to her father Sun.  Her arranged marriage and its implications here are apparent. neo 

The Staffs are headed with either Ram heads or Doves, the first symbolizing the authority of Jupiter, Aries and our Sun, the other representing the love, kindness, and favor of the same.  In a card reading this is sometimes referred to as the divorce card, as it symbolizes completion of many kinds, and depending on the cards around it; it could very well mean that kind of divorce the aspirant is worried about.   It could also represent the beginning of a situation dictated by an arrangement (a strong arrangement).

The 4 of Swords "TRUCE" represents the Airy aspect of the fourfold Chesed.  

In a card reading the 4 of Swords will represent an aspect of "truce" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of truce is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw, than this "truce" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you.   

This card is attributed to Jupiter in Libra.  We see lightning bolts background over blue sky, representing the three dimensional aspect of Air.  

There are four Swords of four neighboring clans touching tip to tip to tip to tip over the top of a white Lotus blossom.  We can also see a green Venusian force field surrounding their agreement.  

It is a four way agreement under tension, and tension of the Sword at that.  The Lotus equilibrates the entire process, while the Venusian force field protects it.  

Like all minors, the surrounding cards will dictate the full direction of this card.

The 4 of Cups "LUXURY" represents the Watery aspect of the fourfold Chesed.  

In a card reading the 4 of Cups will represent an aspect of "luxury" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of luxury is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw, than this "luxury" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you.   

This card represents the Moon in Cancer or Luna during Earthshine.  

The sea has now solidified and is Billet in appearance, where resting on its surface are 4 Golden Cups, the upper two are overfilled by a pink Lotus, and the two below are filled up just right.  

This Luxury is comfortable in nature, yet the clear frozen billet sea which is being utilized as a foundation, is a little disquieting in the warm Solar light.  So this is really just the appearance of Luxury, and you may be ice-skating in springtime.
