Binah: The four 3s - The Sanctifying Consciousness

Mantra:   In the magickal god-form of Nuit standing on the New-Earth of one of Saturn's moons: and with the utterance of: "HehYodVavHe Elo`hem,  Be`na, Tsaf`ke`el, Ar`el`em, & Shabetthai".

Mysteries of Binah:
As the third sphere on the tree of life; Binah represents the Supernal Mother (Aima or Imma)  located above the abyss.  Her abundant motherly love assists in gazing into the grey waters of the Abyss.   While peering into the abyss, you will venture to a place where the Lotus's root resides, imagine the journey along the stem's path downward, which is the focus here.

In Binah the friction-less aspect of manifestation has taken on the viscosity of water (Water of Saturn).

We can feel the love of that gift, the long, long epochs of patience, and the excitement of its inevitable realization among Earth's inhabitants.     *(Please refer to Saturn for a deeper analysis of such allusions  http://neognostica-bookofthoth.blogspot.com/2010/10/xxi-universe.html   )

Representing the Heh-final of the holy-word in each suit; Binah, is also known as the throne to the court Queens whom will command their own upcoming-chapter.  The four Queens are transmitters of the King's command, and they will produce the finest of court Princes.

The Sepirothic fourfold nature of Binah is revealed in the details of the minor arcana 3's.  Study of the three's can lead to deep understandings of actual-manifestation and how nature works as a wonderful cycle.  This cycle is breathtaking when considered in its full-scope; emotions perceived in Binah can lead to hope, faith, love, and deep magickal understandings.

Binah's unmanifestable position among the supernal-triad as being located above-the-Abyss, is interchangeable with that of the also-unmanifestable position of Chokmah: with both being under the direct influence of pure Kether. Binah is the female, even motherly-aspect of the occulted trinity; which provides Abundance, Sorrow, Virtue, and Works into your life in square-measures of three.

Warning: You are treading on the borderlands of manifestation.  The grey waters are actually perceived as black in Assiah.  This is an indication that if you achieve this developmental-level on your magickal path; don't be surprised by anything whom you may encounter.  If confronted with the perception of darkness; obviously utilize the sign of silence; though it would be advisable in pretending that you don't see them at all in this case.  If this peaks your interests?; meditations with the Qlippoth's Satariel may be revealing.  This would be advised only after many completions of Theurgic invokings of Binah (which process is described below in the correspondences section under "Theurgic Invoking Method".

For each of the four minor arcana threes individual descriptions; please scroll down where you will find the details of each card captioned following the Correspondences section.

An Impregnated or even Fertilized Idea. Weltschmerz the Universal Sorrow or even Melancholy. The Completion of a Process which also Documents a New Beginning or Imagined/Remembered Steps. Constructive Energy.

Pair of Angels Ruling the 3 of Disks: hivhv hihhl
The Three of Disks "WORKS" represents the Earthy aspect of the fourfold Binah.  The alchemical triangle of manifestation is constructed of a Kether-based-holographic-light which is reflecting Mars; while floating on the great sea of Binah in the night of time.  Mars in Capricorn would signify the revealing of the All in All or New Earth on one of Saturn's moons.  The base of the triangle is constructed of the alchemical wheels Sattvas, Rajas and Tamas; which are Mercury, Sulpher and Salt; which are Air, Fire, and Water respectively.   The great-sea which the triangle is floating-on is solidifying all-around the wheels as a platform for future manifestation, foundation, or groundwork somewhere in night of time.
In a card reading the 3 of Disks will represent an aspect of "works" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of works is minor in nature and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "works" could be transmitted to whoever the court card represents, even you.
It will almost always represent elemental and even planetary assets working behind the scenes in favor of the highlighted situation.  This work is about to reveal itself in manifestation, either through the other minor cards, court, or dominant Trump thrown in your hand.  Keep in mind, much of the groundwork is in the past-tense, or already there, though almost invisible still.

Pair of Angels Ruling the 3 of Wands: hiwhc himmy
The Three of Wands "VIRTUE" represents the Fiery aspect of the fourfold Binah.  Sol-in-Aries is in a comfortable position of planetary, astrological, and even universally-favored royal-partnership with Aries; and luckily-for-us this is dictated by the personal morals and virtue equal to that of an emperor.   In Crowley's Book of Thoth, he writes that the card is the "establishment of primeval energy".   It is the Initiate's recognizing the process of the King's command when given to the Queen and then after practicing patience, he observes the reward of the initial-command re-manifesting as an idea in the mind and actions of the court Prince.
By the vehicle of Virtue, the theme of Binah is transmutation into manifestation and ultimately into realms which are located below the abyss in Assiah. The lotus as it blossoms at the beginning of springtime, is the result of nourishment received directly from the Sun by the lotus flower, and also that which was received in the muddy murky lake-bottom by the roots.  The will of Virtue and the Three of Wands represent true will about to manifest.
Three staffs of gold, topped with lotus-flower-blossoms cross over a Kether-starburst of love and light.  There are beautiful-orange about-to-manifest leaf-shadows apparent over the same orange-trestle-board-like background.
In a card reading the 3 of Wands will represent an aspect of "virtue" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of "virtue" is minor in nature, and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "virtue" could be transmitted over to whoever the court card represents, even you.   This card should be considered a descriptor rather than a focal point, much like all of the minor arcana cards.

Pair of Angels Ruling the 3 of Swords:  lairh himqh

The Three of Swords "SORROW" represents the Airy aspect of the fourfold Binah. The Weltschmerz or Universal Sorrow. Saturn in Libra is the darkness (hinted at, in the mysteries of Binah section above).  A place that Joshua Seraphim illuminates well in his adventures of initiation at Cheops in the great pyramid; described in the incredible "Heritage of the Illuminati" http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/heritage-of-the-illuminati-joshua-seraphim/1100445459
The stern yet powerful love of Aima or Imma goddess of the Chaldeans (Amani in Mr. Seraphim's above-captioned book) will spring instantaneous love and sorrow from heart of the life-long goddess worshipper.  Harnessing this emotion should be considered a necessary aspect of initiation into the mystery; (along with the inevitable pain of loss upon departure of said initiating goddess).    This particular emotion of Love (sorrow) will be evident in the love of the new earth culminating and intermingling with the feelings of loss, due to our eventual departure from her world.  The womb of chaos is represented here as a transitionary phase into manifestation and fully capable of implement if the practitioner can handle the vibes.
In a card reading the 3 of Swords will represent an aspect of "sorrow" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of "sorrow" is minor in nature, and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "sorrow" could be transmitted over to whoever the court card represents, even you.   This card should be considered a descriptor rather than a focal point, much like all of the minor arcana cards.

Pair of angels Ruling the 3 of Cups:   lahar himbv
The Three of Cups as pomegranates  "ABUNDUNCE" represents the Watery aspect of the fourfold Binah overflowing.  The logos of the Lord-father sun interpreted by the lord-son animated by Mercury.  This abundance of love and understanding intermingled with the intuitive ultra-receptive emotions of Cancer create an addictive relationship that is difficult if not impossible to not indulge;  if you believe it?
In the Book of Thoth, Crowley describes Abundance as "the Will of Love abounding in joy" or "the Will of the All-One".  We call it the All and All (We, as in me and Basil Valentine, LOL)
The Abundance of the three of cups will be evident in the form of concrete ideas and understandings in Assiah.   The abundance is not limited though, and will freely flow through the interpretation of the surrounding cards.  If you are willing to get wet in the grey-black murky dark; go-on dive in.
In a card reading the 3 of Cups will represent an aspect of "abundance" in relation to the dominant trump in the throw.  This aspect of "abundance" is minor in nature, and will affect the situation in regards to a trump, though if a court card is dominant in your throw; than this "abundance" could be transmitted over to whoever the court card represents, even you.   This card should be considered a descriptor rather than a focal point, much like all of the minor arcana cards.

The Lotus is the general feminine symbol. The Lily suggests the purity of the Great Mother. The Ivy has dark leaves and its clinging nature reminds us of feminine or curving growth.
·        Precious Stone: Star Sapphire and the Pearl. The Star Sapphire suggests the expanse of night with the Star appearing in the midst thereof. The light is not in the stone itself but is due to the internal structure. The doctrine is that the stars are formed in the body of night by virtue of the form of the night by the impact from the energy of a higher plane.  The Pearl is referred to Binah due to its being the typical stone of the sea. It is formed by concentric spheres of a hard brilliant substance, the centre being a particle of dust. Thus, that dust which is all that remains of the Exempt Adept after he has crossed the Abyss, is gradually surrounded by sphere after sphere of shining splendor, so that he becomes a fitting ornament for the bosom of the Great Mother.
·        Perfume: Myrrh, or Civet. The Civet as the uncleanly flux of a cat,  corresponding to Musk as Binah does to Chokmah; with its origin being feminine. Myrrh is traditionally the odor of sorrow and bitterness; it is the dark and passive side of Binah.

SATURN: XXI Universe

Great One of the Night of Time
Heh Yod Vav He Elohem Be nap sen Bror ges Tsaf ke el Ar el em Ag e el Zaz el Sha be ti An`shar

Appearance: It is our Lady Babalon from the Lust card; she is encircled in a wreath, which is made-up of the construct of the Universe. In the center of this Zodiacal wheel is a green/blue planet, with swirling waters and a white square patch. The swirling waters are the same as that in the Bible concerning creation, and the square patch is the same as Crowley's five Vs, and would be considered symbolic of the initiate's hard-work concerning the All in All.  These "five Vs" that you will find throughout Crowley's work, have more than one meaning, for this work it will represent the relic, or even footsteps of the Initiates who have gone before.  Like a trail or map; that was left especially for us. She holds a serpent which is wrapped-up in a figure of the number eight, the sign for infinity, and change. The snake's upper loop of the eight indicates the constellation of Leo, and the snake's head and Lady Babylon's feet aimed at Aquarius, which would indicate symbolic of the coming age of Aquarius/Leo. The location of the white patch sitting in Libra, the polar opposite of Aries, signifies the time-period when the All in All project started. The old-testament era, or even at the start of the fifth age of man (Kali Yug). The hook's eye is near the pupil of the Eye of Horus, which is now ignited as the new Sun. The lower loop of the snake is held in place with a barbed fishhook. The barb is attached to the snake near the tribal-sun tattoo, located on the snake's skin. On the upper loop of the serpent, the stars of the Zodiac actually shine through the snake's body, and on the lower loop there is a special blue and gold ray from the Eye, and a tattoo of a new Sun. Crowley: Book of the Law, Chapter 1, verse 60; Nuith Speaks: "My number is 11, as all their numbers who are of us. The Five Pointed Star, with a Circle in the Middle, and the circle is Red. My colour is black to the blind, but the blue and gold are seen of the seeing. Also I have a secret glory for those that love me". The four Cherubim appear as an angel, an eagle, a lion and an ox, sitting at the corners of the card, indicating the four corners of the Universe. The Eye awakens, indicating that the All in All has begun. In the background one of the moons of Saturn; is receiving the gift of water and a resulting primordial soup is developing. In Crowley's Book of Thoth, he implies that this "new earth" is only supposed be visible to the pure of heart. At the lower portion of the card is the symbol of the 92 chemical elements as a framed structure. This structure represents the Universe, and the highest levels of understanding that are obtainable as a human. (Human conception is limited to the understanding of the bare-framework at best). In her hands is the serpent that conceals the Light, Love, & Earth of Saturn. Now that the new Aeon approaches, the Light is escaping the Arcanes and knowledge is awakening in all those who seek the true meaning of the Great Work.

Interpretation: Like the Star, and the Sun; XXI Universe will illuminate a hand very clearly. The less number of cards in your pull; the more it will illuminate the answer, whereas in pulls with a lot of cards; XXI Universe will illuminate the situation and circumstance. As always, the court cards and minor Arcana in any given hand will define the role and nature of this trump. XXI Universe is a very supportive card, in direct questioning, and can be a "ray of hope" in a big-picture reading. Known as the gift giver and the light bearer, legends of Saturnalia and Santa Claus verify his status as a presenter, as well as the unverified personal gnosis, and unverified results of this author. Is there a catch? Good question, the answer is yes, but it is not as bad as you may think. The only "catch" would fall under your own personal laws of morals and duty. This is a very positive card on all levels, especially if life has been tough on you. If you have been true to yourself and others in your plight and you are the type that will "step it up" if necessary? Then expect a "gift" from the Universe. Your gift from the Universe will arrive quickly, and in an unexpected guise. For example:You need a job badly, so you seek assistance from Saturn… In the mundane world you are steadily putting in applications in your field, and in the spiritual world you are steadily asking the Universe for help… The job that you wanted never calls, instead one of the other jobs that you didn't want calls, and two other opportunities arise outside of your career field… And to top it off, each of the three opportunities over-lap each other in ways that will adversely affect other people… With XXI Universe, the gift is available, but you must first have faith that it is available, and then be willing to "rise to the occasion", to accept this gift. Anything that Saturn gives you; you have either "earned" out of severity, or "rose to the occasion" to accept. This cannot be understated enough. All the universe wants to know is; do you accept the gift?... do you love?... are you sure of both answers?... No, are you really sure?... really, really sure?... if not Saturn will be happy to teach you; try ritual magick.

The Mysteries: Like the wise men of Bethlehem; we can follow the Morning Star straight through to Saturnalia. Is the dawn of the Aeon of Aquarius here? This is the end of the 30 year winter on Saturn, and the Hexagram that physically exists on the top of the planet; is now in the full light of our Sun.  As the hydrogen warms on the north pole of Saturn; more water is created, a gift for the new Earth, the Initiate now has the full-support of Sol, in the Great Work.  The rays of a new Sun are shining past the hidden arcanes of the Serpent, and illuminating the earth as more and more humans are discovering the "All in All". The Red Sea is warming, as foreseen by the great Philosophers and Alchemists. NASA has reported heat signatures radiating from the planet Saturn during Cassini fly-bys.   The secret in the head-dress of Sebek is tbe same as the hieroglyph above, and is symbolic of the true nature of the Great Work. The "All in All" and "Red Sea" of Basil Valentine's "12 Keys" corresponds, with the "Great Sea" in Crowley's Book of Thoth. Basil Valentine: 12 Keys: "Let him who would know what this 'All−in−All' is, give the earth great wings, and make it fly upward, through the air to the heavenly regions. Then singe its wings with fierce heat, and make it fall into the Red Sea, and there be drowned. Then dry up the water with fire and air till the earth reappears and you will have 'All−in−All'. This Trump represents the completion of the Great Work from the Aeonic perspective all the way to a personal developmental level perspective. Above we have explained the occulted aspect of the cycles of the Universe; here we are referring to the path of Initiation. Under normal circumstance it will occur over many lifetimes. This Initiation has two spheres. The first is the "Path of 0 The Fool", this is the path of normal mundane life. The other path is the path of "0 The Illuminated Fool", this is the path of Occult Initiation. (see: 0 FOOL; three paths of initiation) This type of path can be completed in one lifetime or in many lifetimes, your choice.
