WATER: XII HANGED MAN - Spirit of the Mighty Waters

                 

This card is a meditative tool for the element of Water. During an elemental water tide and assuming the god-form of ISIS; focus on the image and whisper: E`set EL He`ko-ma A`ge-la M-pe`he ar-sal ga-e`ol E-lo-hem Tsev-a-ot Gav-re`el Ta-li-a-had Tar`ses Ma`yem Ma`a-rav Nik-sa Un-dens

Appearance: We see Asar in the Sleep of Siloam. Buried deep under the earth are the seeds of the serpent. These seeds have sprouted into a well plotted field of growing vegetation. The rows of the field extend outwards towards his nailed-down hands, and upwards to a helmet-like structure around the candidate's head. The hands and feet are nailed to green round patches of vegetation. The blue dome around the field is in the blue color of water. This signifies the aspirant having an understanding of a situation that will require action. He is trapped into that understanding, … trapped because of love. In a comparison with the first Matrix movie we could easily call this person; Neo after he talked to Trinity but before he was actually unplugged. Neo is crucified to the Matrix itself in an upside down position that dignifies the Emperor. He knows about the Matrix and he must act. Act out of Love. Blavatsky wrote about the Sleep of Siloam and related it to Initiation rituals of the Hebrews, Syrians, Egyptians & the Initiates of Asia Minor. It is basically a three day meditation in the asana simulated above. After three subterranean days & nights the candidate awakens to his initiators Osiris and Thoth, who bring him into the direct sunlight at an exact hour. The body would have been placed on a Tau to receive the solar-rays and the double-stream of water…words were vibrated and the spirit-sun of the new man blazed to life, enlightening the newly born man/woman. The aspirant's toe is tied to an Ankh which descends through the white rays of Kether and out of a Venusy atmosphere. This is another example of the hieroglyph at the bottom of the card. (as above so below) It is the formulae of the Rose Cross, and that of submersion into the waters all the way down to the roots of the lotus…..Once the aspirant is at the muddy bottom of the pond, then redemption is the only question. "The Ankh-out-of-Kether" and the "Serpent-seed-leading-to-a-healthy-farm" hieroglyphs' indicate that the aspirant has the knowledge. He knows, he wills, but does he dare?.......For now he will simply remain silent. So it seems that he has everything he needs, except movement, which is obviously inevitable. This card represents the awakened-sleep that happens right before waking up. Behind the silence of sleep is a deep understanding of just what's-up, and what-to-do.

Interpretation: XII Hanged man in a card reading will indicate that the querent is "trapped by the truth". His presence will not only indicate the querent's inside knowledge of a situation, but also the "nudge- forward". This card agrees with your deep insights and encourages your proposed action. The querent now understands something in such a way that he/she must take action. This knowledge or understanding brings a level of responsibility that cultivates action.
