Appearance: Under a star-lit blue sky the Sphinx, Hermanubis, and Typhon adorn the wheel of time. These three represent the equilibrium of the alchemical father, and respectively Sulpher, Mercury, and Salt. The axle is the Star of Kether, and emanating outwards are ten Sepirothic-spokes. The white and gold marble construct of the wheel, spokes, and its riders represent the place where the invisible masters reside. The influence that the invisible masters have on a Querent; being much like the influence that the Sphinx, Hermanubis, and Typhon have on mankind, which is represented in the wheel and its spiral shaped, out-flowing currents Where the Purple-Seas of Jupiter end and the blue sky begins, we see a floating Magickal circle. The blue sky stands for Assiah and the world that we live in. The purple circle is a Jupiterian Magickal circle especially designed for Theurgy. This would signify a magickal path of attainment, one protected in the Theurgic light of Jupiter. The entry-level student that seeks Jupiter directly and with an open heart may get a taste of this path, but without a doubt; a sincere member of a Rosicrucian order or Theurgist understands and appreciates Pan/Zeus dearly. Crowley – Book of the Law, Chapter 1, Verse 3, and the goddess Nuith speaks: "Every man and every woman is a star". The gold stars that seem to be placed in a layer below the circle, represent aspirants to the mystery. The main ten-pointed star in the center of the circle represents the Theurgic path. Note that the other stars lay outside the circle of magick, and have spawned lightning bolts downwards. These downward bolts started as rays of pure Kether, and upon entering the Purple Seas of Jupiter and the strong currents, the wetness and current cause static, transforming the pure light of Kether into lightning bolts, eventually these lightning bolts pass through the Sepirothic-spokes of the wheel, to all end up close-together in the same area. The lightning bolts represent the mundane paths of life, that lead us through the diverse human experience, while the Magick circle and the central star of Kether represent the Initiate and his/her very direct path. The important point here is that the mundane path is subjected to a much heavier current and influence of good and bad experiences, whereas the Initiate when exposed to the same currents, will be more of an observer of the situation than a victim. The white triangle behind the wheel would represent many diverse occult paths and temples.  The influence of Jupiter, sways the mundane inividual towards a path of wisdom and eventually Magick.    So what we have here is a threefold hieroglyph, one being the direct path of the theurgist, two the path of ordinary life, and three; the path of ordinary life whereas the individual has made major discoveries, and  grew from these ephiinies through philosophy, study, and hard-knocks.   At the bottom of the white triangle are six white stripes, these are the guide-wires leading to XIII Death. 

Interpretation: In a reading, X Fortune is always a good sign. Jupiter represents Divine Providence, and worldly favor. Divine Providence would be appropriate because it represents Divinity moving in your favor, in relation to earthly matters. "Worldly favor" would be appropriate when equated to the more contemporary description of "situational favor". So if you are badly in need of favor in a certain situation, and this card comes up; no worries, as it would indicate that the "powers that be" may be seeing things from your prospective… It will always represent change, but a much different change, than say the 2 of Discs or the Death card. This change would be in the perception of the controlling factors and parties in your life. The rose colored glasses of the world around you; will see you in a brighter shade, or even a darker shade. The surrounding cards will detail this movement. The movement of Jupiter is slow to start, then builds momentum, kind of like a train. It is heavy, immense feeling, like all of eternity squeezed on this giant planet. 

Mysteries:

Hidden near the wheel are the Hebrew and Enochian words of power that are associated with Jupiter. Planetary magick with Jupiter can be beneficial, especially if you have already been working with the other planets. Jupiter works closely with all the planets in matters mundane and magickal. Jupiter's nature is twofold. On one hand "EL" is a reflection or interpretation of SOL, on the other hand he is the original essence of the alchemical father.

There are many deities associated with this planet, most notably Zeus and Amun Ra. Zeus would represent the father aspect in the cosmic family, and Amun Ra would represent the planetary or "reflection of SOL" aspect.

So while the approval of the father (Zeus aspect) is necessary, dialogue may be limited, as most of his dialogue will be communicating with the other planets. That's not to say that this cosmic dialogue is not; concerning you and your mundane situations.

Amun Ra can be an incredible experience. If you want to experience the adventure of your life, here is a recipe: Look up a "Jupiter Invoking Ritual". (IMO the Golden Dawn version is one of the better ones). After following the instructions, simply meditate as the god-form Amun Ra, and hang on.

Be ready to see things that "you" never imagined.
